Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly manner.
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety guidelines.
- Operate the cash register efficiently, handling cash transactions accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the café, including bussing tables and sanitizing surfaces.
- Utilize Aloha POS for order processing and inventory management.
- Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring food safety standards are met.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a café or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with customers.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and sanitation practices.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and retail math is a plus.
- Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks as required.
