Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Guest Experience
- Be the Face of Our Brand: Greet guests warmly as they enter, ensuring every interaction reflects our commitment to excellence.
- Guest Engagement: Lead pre-shift meetings to share updates, special requests, and service goals.
- Reservation Management: Oversee guest reservations and design floor plans to optimize the guest experience.
- Issue Resolution: Address and resolve guest concerns promptly to maintain our high service standards.
Operational Excellence
- Service Oversight: Manage the daily dining room operations—from setup to service and breakdown across various service types (buffet, a la carte, parties, etc.).
- Quality & Cleanliness: Maintain a pristine dining environment by ensuring that service areas, equipment, and team member uniforms are immaculate.
- Team Coordination: Serve as the liaison between the dining and kitchen teams to ensure smooth, efficient service.
Administrative & Financial Management
- Budget Management: Monitor labor and supply costs, adjusting schedules and resources to meet budgetary goals.
- Technology Utilization: Use computer systems and tools (including Microsoft Office Suite) for scheduling, forecasting, revenue reporting, and correspondence.
- Inventory Oversight: Maintain and account for dining room assets such as silverware, glassware, and other essentials to ensure readiness and cost control.
- Performance Analysis: Review financial and operational reports to identify opportunities for efficiency and revenue growth.
Team Development & Training
- Lead & Inspire: Recruit, train, and supervise dining team members to cultivate a high-performing, guest-focused team.
- Innovation in Service: Develop and implement new service strategies, promotions, and team contests to boost guest satisfaction and repeat business.
- Continuous Improvement: Provide constructive feedback, absorb suggestions, and work collaboratively with upper management to refine procedures.
Additional Duties
- Safety & Emergency Preparedness: Ensure all team members are trained and prepared for emergency situations.
- Service Innovation: Suggest and implement improvements in dining service procedures and layout.
- Extra Assignments: Assist with other projects and duties as required by the General Manager.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: Prior experience in food service management or a similar hospitality role.
- Skills: Exceptional leadership, communication, and multitasking abilities with a guest-first mindset.
- Technical Proficiency: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and related scheduling/reporting tools.
- Physical Requirements: Capable of performing physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds, and standing or walking for extended periods.
- Language: Must be fluent in English—both written and spoken.

As word spread of the restaurant’s exceptional pizza and friendly service, so did Pizza Inn locations across the Heartland. From 1960-1990, taste buds across the southeastern and southwestern U.S. were able to experience first-hand the made-from-scratch crispy, crackery Original Thin crust, and tangy signature sauce that are still hallmarks of the Pizza Inn brand today. For more than 60 years, Pizza Inn has prided ourselves on freshness and innovation, introducing the Taco Pizza in 1979, the first dessert “Pizzert” pizza in 1986 and the chain’s hallmark Bacon Cheeseburger Pizza by the 1990s. We’re still cooking up fresh ideas to this day and are committed to bringing our best pizza to the table, every time.
