The Pizza Pavia Server will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to guests dining at the restaurant. The ideal candidate will be friendly, outgoing, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests and escort them to their tables.
- Take orders for food and beverages and relay them accurately to the kitchen.
- Provide menu recommendations and answer questions about menu items.
- Ensure that all food and beverages are delivered to the table in a timely and accurate manner.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and address any concerns or complaints in a professional manner.
- Process payments and operate the cash register.
- Perform side work duties, such as preparing silverware and cleaning tables.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines, including handling food and beverages safely.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other servers to ensure that all guests have an exceptional dining experience.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Restaurant Manager.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience working as a server in a restaurant or other food service environment is preferred, but not required.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Salary: Starting pay for this position is $9.00 per hour plus tips, with the potential for increases based on performance and experience.
