Pizza Wholesale of Lexington, Inc., a founding Distributor of Hunt Brothers® Pizza, is looking for an ambitious, hard-working individual to fill the position of Fleet Coordinator. Pizza Wholesale of Lexington, Inc. (PWL), established in 1976 and a founding distributor of Hunt Brothers® Pizza, is a privately held, family owned and operated direct store distribution business.
Position Summary: The Fleet Coordinator will support our Team Members in all PWL fleet-related needs. The main objective of this position will be to ensure the quality, compliance, and safety of the company’s assets. Determine course of action and prioritize the repairs needed to maintain the fleet for maximum equipment life and minimal downtime, emphasizing the field team members' safety and environment in a breakdown situation. Must be available for after-hours support during an accident or breakdown or to consult with service providers and team members for general questions and needs. Back up other Fleet Team members as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor repairs and work closely with our service providers for daily updates.
- Report daily updates on down units to PWL Operations.
- Send weekly Maintenance reminders.
- Work closely with the District Manager to ensure Preventative Maintenance and Annual DOT Inspections are performed within the range of due date and mileage interval.
- Follow up and resolve DVIR defects.
- Audit monthly internal vehicle inspection reports and report out follow-up needs.
- Schedule and track bi-annual refrigeration preventative maintenance.
- Maintain accurate repair records and invoice coding.
- Informs department leadership of high-dollar repairs.
- Respond to breakdowns with a sense of urgency.
- Dispatch roadside service and towing as needed.
- Secure rentals as needed.
- Assist the District with securing quality vehicle wash providers and other services as needed.
- Responsible for daily HOS monitoring for violations and unassigned vehicle movements.
- Assist the Field Team with Geotab Drive.
- Support the Safety Department with accidents related to fleet vehicles.
- Maintain Fleet Tracking Software
- Flexibility to assist in moving vehicles when necessary.
- Establish and maintain service provider relationships.
- Other reasonable requests by Fleet Managers.
Qualifications
Knowledge and Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite

Minimum Requirements:
- Education: High School Diploma / GED
- Function-Specific Experience: 2 years a plus.
- Valid Operator’s License
- Legal Age: 21 years old
- Travel as needed; Up to 10%
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to sit for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift 45 lbs.
- Willingness to work in inclement weather.

Salary : $56,000 - $62,000
