Catering Support Associate

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Helper to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will assist in various kitchen tasks, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation. Duties

• Assist chefs and cooks in meal preparation and cooking tasks.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
• Help with food handling and storage, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Support catering events by preparing ingredients and setting up food stations.
• Perform basic food service tasks, including assembling plates for service.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal delivery and exceptional customer satisfaction.
• Participate in inventory management by assisting with stock rotation and reporting shortages.

Experience

• Previous experience in a food service or culinary environment is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with food handling practices and safety standards is a plus.
• A passion for cooking and willingness to learn more about meal preparation techniques.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented atmosphere within a restaurant or catering setting.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for maintaining kitchen efficiency.
