Are you a seasoned hospitality professional with strong leadership skills? Pizzalley’s Chianti Room is looking for an experienced and dynamic Assistant General Manager to join our team. In this key role, you will help oversee the daily operations of our high-volume, fast-paced restaurant and work closely with our leadership team to deliver exceptional service and guest experiences.
Position: Assistant General Manager
Location: Pizzalley’s Chianti Room
Reports To: General Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the General Manager in managing day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth service flow and operational efficiency.
- Assist with recruitment, training, and development of front-of-house and back-of-house teams.
- Oversee the implementation of health, safety, and cleanliness protocols to ensure compliance with regulations and high-quality standards.
- Contribute to financial management by tracking labor costs, food costs, and expenses, and helping with budgeting and forecasting.
- Address guest concerns and ensure the highest level of service and hospitality.
- Collaborate on marketing strategies, promotions, and events to enhance brand awareness and drive customer engagement.
- Act as the restaurant’s leader in the absence of the General Manager.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Assistant General Manager, Restaurant Manager, or similar role in a high-volume restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with a passion for developing teams and providing excellent customer service.
- Experience in financial management, including budgeting, cost control, and sales tracking.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and the ability to enforce them in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced, and dynamic setting.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
