Due to continued success and rapid growth, Lindy Paving is seeking QA/QC Field Technicians to join its Quality Control team in the Greater Pittsburgh region.

PRIMARY FUNCTION:
The Field Technician is responsible for the testing and inspection of road construction materials, including but not limited to Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA), to determine whether or not their characteristics, properties and quality meet or exceed the standards and specifications prescribed by our customers.
TYPICAL DUTIES:
- Perform testing in accordance with Company's Quality Control System
- Understand test methods and procedures
- Analyze test data and take corrective action to prevent non-conforming products
- Complete required documentation and data control
- Care and maintenance of testing equipment
- Development and training for succession
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Education and experience requirements include: High school diploma or equivalent. Must possess or be able to achieve a NECEPT Field Technician Certification. Must be proficient with computers, specifically Microsoft Office applications, and possess strong analytical and communication skills. Must be able to meet all safety requirements including radiation safety. Must be able to carry a 40 lbs Nuclear Density gauge, shovel, tamp and lute asphalt material, and lift heavy material samples. Must be willing to work overtime, night shift, and weekends. Must possess a valid driver's license in order to drive to various locations as required. Requires climbing, stooping, bending, squatting, lifting, stretching, driving sitting. Must submit to a pre-employment drug test.
