Starting Pay:
$17.72/hour, daytime starting pay rate
$26.58/hour after 10pm, or before 7am, for early or late set up or strikes
Location: Tacoma based, in the T-Dome District, with some travel (car pooling w/ work vehicles) in Western WA, particularly Seattle (when asked to work a gig in Seattle, wage is $20.76/hour)

We are an internationally award-winning event design & decor company looking to add an energetic, enthusiastic core staff person who likes to be active in the workplace and bring positive, creative attitudes.
Production Crew Members primarily assist with the setting and striking of special events, loading our truck, pulling event inventory, restocking, repairs and general labor. At times, they also fill in to provide tours of our venue space, or act as oversight staff for on-site events.
Qualifiers:
-someone who can work well in a small, dedicated teams & also learn quickly, with an eye for how processes can be improved
-comfortable on ladders
-able to lift/move 50lbs, with help from a co-worker, dolly or hand truck
-have a good attitude about the repetitive parts of working anywhere: helping to keep things neat and organized
-must pass a background check
Optional, Desired Skills:
-power tool use
-Experience driving box trucks (like a U-Haul) is a much-sought-after bonus skill!
Availability:
As an events company, there is a standard industry need for some weekend and evening availability. We are looking for reliable individuals, who are excited to contribute to a vibrant, professional company.
Samples of Shifts & Pay Scale:
Wednesday 6 pm-11 pm (Seattle event = Seattle pay rate of $20.76/hour time and a half after 10 pm)
Thursday 10am - 4pm (regular pay rate)
Saturday 9pm - midnight (paid for 4 hours, time and half after 10 pm)
[24-30 hours/week, on average, with a 90 day trial period to reach competency goals]
Perks:
Bereavement: This job includes 1 allotment of 6 hours of paid bereavement per year, for immediate family (parents, children, siblings or their connected spouses, nieces, or nephews).
Bonus: December 25th is a paid day off for full time, and regular part time employees. Employees are eligible after 90 work days, and will be paid based on their average hours over the most recent 90 work day period.
Employee Discount: Full time and part time regular employees receive a 10% discount on venue space rental for weekdays (M-F) after 9 am and before 8 pm. Full time and part time regular employees receive a 10% off décor (décor must be over $500 retail).
Unpaid Parental Leave: When providing 30 days or more notice, full time and part time regular employees, who have been with the company for 90 work days, will receive 4 unpaid weeks of Parental Leave, for the birth of their child, or for adjusting during an adoption process, or foster care intake.
