Pj's Coffee in Covington, LA is looking for a Morning / Mid Day Barista to join our strong team. We are located on 70456 Hwy 21. Our ideal candidate is attentive, motivated, and hard-working.

Responsibilities

*Welcoming customers, informing them about specials or new items, answering questions, and accepting orders and payments. *Preparing foods, such as sandwiches, baked goods, wraps, salads. Serving from a hot breakfast/lunch line. Brewing coffee and tea. Building iced, frozen, and hot beverages. Serving items to customers. *Cleaning and restocking work and dining areas, emptying trash, and cleaning and sanitizing equipment and utensils. *Learning about brewing methods, beverage blends, food preparation, and presentation techniques to improve food quality. *Working in as part of a fun, high-energy team. *Adhering to all food safety regulations and quality controls.

Qualifications

*Training and willingness to continue learning about food and beverage preparation. *Exceptional listening and communication skills. *Ability to walk, bend, lift, and stand for extended periods. *A polite, engaging personality. *Commitment to customer satisfaction and service excellence. *Willingness to work as part of a high-energy, efficient team in a fast-paced environment. *High integrity with a great attendance record. *Strong attention to detail. *Ability to listen and communicate effectively. *Proven working experience as a barista preferred but not required.

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts all days except Sundays and Saturdays. Compensation is $8.00 - $14.00/hour.
