What are the responsibilities and job description for the Barista position at PJ's Coffee of New Orleans?
We seek dedicated Baristas to craft high-quality beverages and provide exceptional customer service. The Barista will be responsible for preparing coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, maintaining a clean workspace, and ensuring a welcoming environment for customers.
Job Duties:
- Greets every customer and exhibits “Customer First” attitude
- Maintains punctual attendance
- Follows all recipes and standards - drink builds, cleanliness, workflow and customer service
- Properly operates all brew equipment
- Processes and completes customers’ orders in timely friendly manner
- Understands various barista positions - floater, register, bar, etc.
- Responsible for overall general tidiness of shop / cafe / stall - including service bar, dining room, bathrooms, dish area, storage areas as directed by Management
- Complete deep cleaning tasks as outline in checklists from Management team
- Maintains stocking of items as needed
- Inform leadership team of any maintenance issues in a timely manner
- Properly handle any guest issues or complaints to the standard of management
- Unload orders as soon as possible and leave invoices in designated area
