Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Morning Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will make hand crafted beverages, sandwiches, and pastries while maintaining a clean work and environment and providing excellent customer service to all our guest.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for order processing and cash handling.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations at all times.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of supplies and ingredients.
- Promote sales through effective communication about menu items and special promotions.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods.
Requirements
- On time and ready to work for early morning shifts
- Previous experience in the food industry or retail environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Familiarity with POS systems; experience with POS is a plus.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is essential.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A team-oriented mindset with a willingness to help others as needed.
