Description
About the Opportunity
Performs the day-to-day routine maintenance of the facility as outlined by regulatory agencies and internal standards.
Duties and Responsibilities
- The position is fundamental to all mechanical functions of the facility and includes working closely with Production Supervisors, as well as Production Employees.
- Strong leadership skills, customer service skills, technical skills, and problem-solving abilities are required.
- Monitoring all systems of the plant and performing all basic repairs as needed.
- Observes all safety standards and participates in the Company’s efforts to provide a safe work environment.
- Understands and follows the directions and tasks given by direct supervisor and conscientiously completes them.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Job Requirements
- The schedule of the position is a full time (40 hour) position and required to be available for emergency calls.
- A minimum of 5 years’ maintenance experience.
- Must have strong working knowledge of basic trades, such as, welding, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting equipment.
- Ability to analyze and interpret technical aspects, pumps, and motors, mechanical systems with a similar degree of complexity.
- Maintain a valid drivers’ license and reliable transportation.
- Able to work on-call and extended hours (including after hours and weekends).
- Must be able to diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems.
