Responsibilities
The Strategic Advisory group is one of the most experienced teams in the industry, and has been involved in some of the largest, most complex transactions in recent years. Our global team focuses on a diverse set of industries, including technology, media & telecommunications, energy, power & utilities, industrials healthcare, and real estate.
The Real Estate, Gaming, Lodging and Leisure ("REGL") industry vertical is seeking candidates who possess direct knowledge, transaction experience and interest in the global gaming industry. This role will primarily be focused on driving client coverage and transaction execution efforts across various gaming sub-sectors, including land-based gaming, online gaming, gaming suppliers / data providers, affiliates, and next generation betting products (i.e. daily fantasy, sweepstakes, etc.). The ideal candidate will have proven experience coordinating and leading M&A, capital markets (debt and equity) and other strategic advisory assignments.
There will be opportunity for similar responsibilities across our broader REGL sectors, including :
- Traditional real estate sectors
- Lodging and Hospitality, including alternative accommodations
- Leisure and Fitness
- Real Estate Technology and other related sectors

Qualifications
As a firm, we seek to hire individuals who are highly motivated, intelligent, and are proven self-starters. In addition to strong analytical and quantitative skills, the successful candidate should have excellent communication skills, a demonstrated ability to write effectively, interests outside of work and a desire to work in a team environment. A strong background in finance / accounting is required.
To be considered for the position, applicants must also meet the following criteria :
Expected annualized base salary of $250,000 to $300,000.
This range represents the low and high ends of the expected annualized base salary for this position. The specific base salary received by any employee will be informed by a number of factors, including but not limited to, role level and scope, location, candidate's relevant qualifications, skills and experience.
Base salary is one component of PJT Partners' compensation structure. In addition to base salary, PJT Partners' compensation structure may include additional rewards, incentives, and benefits, including but not limited to, a discretionary bonus component.
