Responsibilities

The Strategic Advisory group is one of the most experienced teams in the industry, and has been involved in some of the largest, most complex transactions in recent years. Our global team focuses on a diverse set of industries, including technology, media & telecommunications, energy, power & utilities, industrials healthcare and real estate.

As a First/Second Year Analyst in the Structured Products group, you will have the opportunity to work directly with large financial sponsors and corporate clients on transactions across industries and capital structures, including asset backed securitizations, joint ventures and forward flows, structured fund finance, and various other capital-raising and liquidity-oriented transactions. Responsibilities in connection with the role include but are not limited to:

> Analyzing capital structures and cash flows models

> Facilitating due diligence on prospective and active client mandates

> Creating presentations and memoranda to present to clients and internal parties

> Preparing investor materials across all transaction structure and legal-related matters

> Coordinating complex and time-sensitive transaction processes with clients, investors, rating agencies, and external legal counsel

> Monitoring of financial and securitization markets and industry trends

Qualifications

PJT Partners seeks to hire individuals who are highly motivated, detail-oriented, intelligent and have excellent academic, leadership and extracurricular records. In addition, qualified candidates will possess the following:

> 1 – 2 years of experience in a Structured Finance, Securitized Products, or Leveraged Finance, Group

> Experience with credit analysis, building models with complex waterfalls and structuring of securitization transactions across different asset classes and types of structures

> Experience working on the execution of asset-backed securitizations, including review of legal documentation and management of the rating agency process

> Deep knowledge of the financial and securitization markets

> Ability to take initiative and demonstrate a proactive approach to problem solving

> Resume must be in PDF format

Expected annualized base salary of $120,000 - $130,000.

This range represents the low and high ends of the expected annualized base salary for this position. The specific base salary received by any employee will be informed by a number of factors, including but not limited to, role level and scope, location, candidate’s relevant qualifications, skills and experience.

Base salary is one component of PJT Partners’ compensation structure. In addition to base salary, PJT Partners’ compensation structure may include additional rewards, incentives and benefits, including but not limited to, a discretionary bonus component.
