You’ll be selling PK Cabinet products to a variety of businesses while actively representing the PK Cabinet brand. Our team of sales professionals is dedicated to excellence in the cabinetry industry. We provide continuous, personalized training to ensure you stay ahead of industry trends and customer needs.
Passion for the product and the brand is essential in this role. Everything else can be taught – and there’s a lot to learn! Experience in cabinetry, millwork, or construction is strongly preferred, but we’ll gladly consider candidates with transferable skills and backgrounds.
About the Role
The Territory Sales Representative (TSR) will travel within a defined territory to promote PK Cabinet products to dealers, designers, contractors, and architects. The focus is on building relationships with new customers, providing exceptional support, and developing new business opportunities.
What Will Be Expected of You
- Develop and maintain a detailed sales and support plan for the territory to drive growth and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain consistent contact with customers to ensure a high level of satisfaction and loyalty.
- Conduct daily in-person customer visits to showcase PK Cabinet products, assist in product selection, and provide solutions for customer needs.
- Prepare price quotations and process orders in alignment with company policies and approvals.
- Maintain a detailed database of customer interactions, product presentations, and sales activities. Provide regular activity reports to Sales Management.
- Travel to trade shows, industry events, and customer sites within and outside the territory as needed. Travel may include nights and weekends.
- Participate in required training sessions (product knowledge, sales techniques, software tools, etc.) to stay updated on industry trends and company offerings.
- Monitor and report on competitive products, pricing, promotions, and market activities within your territory. Complete market research reports as directed by Sales and Marketing Management.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Customer Service, Sales Management, and Marketing, to ensure seamless communication and customer support.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the company’s sales and customer service goals.
Key Skills and Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships with customers and internal teams.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Knowledge of the cabinetry, millwork, or construction industry is a plus.
- Proficiency in using CRM tools, Microsoft Office, and other sales software.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the territory and adapt to a flexible schedule.
