Our client, a leading manufacturing company located in Newburgh, NY, is seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their executive leadership team. The CFO will play a key role in shaping the financial future of the organization, ensuring financial stability, optimizing financial performance, and supporting strategic growth initiatives. This role is responsible for financial planning, risk management, record-keeping, and financial reporting while overseeing all aspects of financial management, including treasury, tax, compliance, and internal controls.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all financial operations including accounting, financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company’s business objectives, ensuring alignment with short-term and long-term goals.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to the executive leadership team to drive decision-making and enhance profitability.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of audited financial statements and reports in accordance with GAAP.
- Establish and maintain a robust system of internal controls and financial reporting procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including tax filings and audits.
- Oversee cash flow, working capital, and financial risk management.
- Manage relationships with banking institutions, investors, and financial partners.
- Optimize capital structure and develop financial strategies for capital investment and funding.
- Supervise and mentor the finance and accounting team, ensuring proper training and development.
- Oversee cost accounting, merchandise planning, and inventory control.
- Implement policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency and financial accuracy.
- Oversee Human Resources functions, ensuring compliance with labor laws and best practices.
- Manage office administration and general business insurance policies.
- Collaborate with legal teams to mitigate risk and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Work closely with the CEO and executive team to drive the company’s strategic initiatives.
- Participate in key business decisions, mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate growth opportunities.
- Develop relationships with key stakeholders, including auditors, tax advisors, and legal counsel.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA preferred).
- CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of senior financial management experience, including at least 3 years as a CFO and 5 years as a Controller.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, and compliance requirements.
- Experience in manufacturing, industrial supply, or a related industry preferred.
- Expertise in Federal, State, and Local tax laws.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and financial management software.
- Strong leadership, strategic planning, and organizational skills.

Salary : $250,000 - $325,000
