Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and monitor the daily activities of the accounting team
- Train and support accounting team members as necessary
- Manage day-to-day general ledger accounting activities
- Lead weekly reporting and month end close processes
- Manage multiple priorities on a daily basis
- Advise staff to the handling of non-routine accounting transactions
- Drive process improvement activities to increase the efficiency and accuracy of accounting functions
- Take initiative to implement lean, automated policies and procedures to ensure a timely financial close process
- Collaborate with cross functional peers on a servant leader basis supporting the business while following compliance and GAAP guidelines
- Provide technical accounting guidance by performing research, documenting policies and training team members
- Monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
- Direct team of accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and treasury specialists
- Coordinate the payment of invoices
- Daily management of treasury transactions along with daily liquidity reporting
- Management of online banking and company credit card programs
- Act as the key contact for annual financial statement audits and comply with audit requests for information
- Demonstrate a sense of urgency and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Excellent time management and organization skills
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a high volume, fast paced environment
- Hands-on proficiency with accounting software (preferably Microsoft GP) and report writing tools
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Analytical, organized, and enthusiastic leader

- Self-Motivated
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- CPA preferred
- Comprehensive understanding of GAAP accounting
- 7 years of accounting and supervisory experience
- 3 Years in a Controller position
- Manufacturing experience with high vendor volume preferred

Salary : $140,000 - $180,000
