The Billing Coordinator will handle various billing-related tasks to ensure accurate and timely invoicing. Responsibilities include but are not limited to : Responsibilities : Respond to inquiries in the Billing Software Support Inbox regarding : WIP TransfersInvoice CorrectionsTime Entry CorrectionsImport time and expense entriesDaily update of client informationDaily posting of invoicesApprove new clientsClient billingWork in partnership with the Accounts Receivable teams to coordinate and resolve outstanding invoice issuesCollaborate with HR regarding quarterly internal auditQualifications : Must be able to work in either the New York City or Hauppauge, NY officeWillingness and ability to work in the office 2-3 days per weekHigh school diploma or equivalentBachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred1 -2 years’ experience working in billing, accounts receivable or similar role requiredExperience working in a public accounting or professional services firm preferredIn-depth knowledge of MS OfficeCCH Practice Management Software experience preferredStrong attention to detailExcellent verbal, written and organizational skillsTeam player with a positive attitude and willingness to assist colleagues as neededHigh degree of professionalism and confidentialityAbility to work independently and maintain flexibility with respect to assigned tasks due to changing deadlines and deliverables in a fast-paced environmentWe are interested in all qualified candidates who are currently authorized to work in the United States.
