Systems Engineer - PKH Enterprises is looking for Systems Engineers interested in a proposal effort that is underway supporting a defense client. This opportunity will be onsite work. Candidates will apply system engineering principles to the solution of secure information systems design problems and apply the principles of science and mathematics to develop economical solutions to technical problems.
Tasks will include :
- Perform a variety of engineering tasks that are broad in nature and are concerned with system design and implementation.
- Plan and perform engineering research, design, development, and other assignments in conformance with design, engineering, and customer specifications.
- Make recommendations and advise on system design, development, improvements, optimization, or support efforts.
- Evaluate overall design effectiveness, cost, reliability, security, and safety.
- Perform problem definition, analysis, requirement development and implementation for complex systems in the engineering discipline required to meet technical requirements.
- Define and interpret high level organizational engineering performance requirements and objectives and develop approaches to their achievement.
- Performs abstract or concept studies and analysis, requirements definition, preliminary planning, the evaluation of alternative technical approaches, and provides associated costs for the development or enhancement of high-level general performance specifications of a system, project, mission, or activity.
- Support customers in the development, implementation, and maintenance of strategy, doctrine, standards, policies, and procedures.
