Description
Accurate knowledge of AISC and ICBO standards and procedures relative to allowable tolerances, finishes and locations. Knowledge of and skill in machining a variety of material types in varying thicknesses and configurations. Knowledge of and demonstrable skill in trouble‑shooting, operating and maintaining various equipment. Knowledge of and skill in the operation and maintenance of material handling equipment and all accessory tools/equipment used in the fabrication process including but not limited to pneumatic hand tools, standard hand tools, and measuring equipment. Ability to demonstrate appropriate safe work habits and practices. Ability to understand and follow complex blueprints, directions, instructions, and/or other forms of production communications.
Accurate knowledge and understanding of company policies, procedures, programs and guidelines. Ability to work productively with all areas of the organization. Demonstrates high degree of ethical behavior, work ethic, attention to detail, honesty and reliability. In addition, the ability to manage stress constructively and maintain a positive, even temperament during periods of frustration, ambiguity, and change.
