We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting / Administrative Clerk to join our team and provide essential support to our team.
Position Overview
The ideal candidate will have prior law firm billing experience and will be responsible for a variety of accounting and administrative tasks related to accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), client billing, and case management. This role is crucial for ensuring accurate financial records, client reports, and smooth day-to-day operations.
Essential Functions
- Review, edit, and distribute pre-bills in a timely and accurate manner.
- Generate client statements, invoices, and financial reports for attorneys.
- Input and track client payments, disbursements, and recoverable costs.
- Handle various accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks.
- Reconcile discrepancies and resolve billing issues with attorneys or clients.
- Assist in maintaining accurate records and filing systems for all financial transactions.
- Support the Managing Partner with special projects and audits as needed.
- Assist with preparing weekly case reports for clients.
- Provide support to other departments as needed.
