What are the responsibilities and job description for the Direct Support Professional Weekends position at PKT Enterprises?
PKT Enterprises has openings on Saturdays and Sundays for our Direct Support Professionals (DSP) position. The role of a DSP involves coming along side persons with disabilities to provide aide and opportunities that may be difficult for them to do independently; this includes getting out in the community and being involved in fun activities. Some other responsibilities would include assisting with client programming, preparing meals, passing medications, doing laundry & house cleaning, assisting with medical appointments. Full training will be provided. Work will be done in a group home setting or with individual clients 1 on 1.
Our usual weekend shifts are 8a-4p; 2p-10p; and 8a-10p. That being said, schedules vary per location and per current openings. We are more than willing to work with applicants to find a schedule that best matches with their availability.
Open Shifts :
Shift 1 : Every Other Saturday, Sunday 8a-10pm
Shift 2 : Saturday, Sunday 9a-9p
Qualifications :
- High School Diploma or Proof of General Educational Development (GED) Tests Completion
- A Valid Driver's License
- Dependable Vehicle
- Good Driving Record
- Car Insurance in Employee's Name
- At Least 19 Years Old
- Some Locations Offer Per Hour Pay Differentials
- ASL Fluent Employees Receive an Hourly Pay Bump
