What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Designer/Drafter position at PL Custom Emergency Vehicles?
This position is primarily responsible for preparing clear, complete detail drawings from rough or detailed sketches or notes and customer specifications.
-Create designs, drawings and BOM's for production orders.
-Provide initial layout drawings based on customer specifications.
-Price analysis, drawings and specifications using AutoCAD, SolidWorks and Quote Writer programs.
-Provides information when required for cost estimating on special requests.
-Experience in automotive industry or emergency vehicle industry desirable.
-Experience with CAD required.
-SolidWorks or similar program knowledge required.
-Monday - Friday 8am-4:30pm (Company does have summer hours)
