PL Developments, also known as PLD, is a leading manufacturer, packager, and distributor of over-the-counter (OTC) pharmaceutical products and consumer healthcare goods.
SUMMARY :
The Bottling Mechanic is responsible for the daily setup, adjustment, and maintenance of bottle packaging machinery. Key tasks include executing quality changeovers, performing repairs and preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting PLCs and circuit boards. The mechanic will assist in the installation and qualification of new machines and ensure accurate line setup documentation. Knowledge of cGMP and safety guidelines is required.
Work Schedule : Monday-Friday 3 : 00pm-11 : 30pm
JOB QUALIFICATIONS :
- 5 years' experience in the field
- Mechanical Engineering degree a plus
- Knowledge of cGMP and Safety guidelines
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES :
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :
Continuous walking, standing, climbing and frequent periods requiring sustained. Uncomfortable physical positions : regular and sustained periods of strenuous physical exertion, requiring the ability to lift, carry and position heavy objects utilizing proper body mechanics and techniques; operation of tools and equipment which cause loud noise and vibrations.
This position requires frequent walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, lifting, stooping, and working / extending overhead, including :
