Class A Driver - Second Shift

Second Shift

Monday-Thursday 4PM-2 : 30AM

Possible OT

JOB QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Possess and maintain valid CDL Class A License
  • Minimum 2 years driving experience
  • Must pass DOT physical and drug test
  • Must pass background check
  • Must have a clean driving record
  • Must have experience driving a 20' or larger truck
  • Be able to lift, push or pull - minimum 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to operate a single, deep reach truck, sit down forklift, stock picker, electric jack and scissor lift

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Drive truck safely and within state and local laws
  • Inspect truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water
  • Report any unsafe conditions on the truck to a manager
  • Check that registration and inspection stickers are valid
  • Maintain truck log according to state and federal regulations
  • Maintain telephone or radio contact with supervisor to receive delivery instructions
  • Verify load against shipping papers
  • Operate forklift in a safe and efficient manner to retrieve or store material
  • Maintains a safe working environment by obeying all safety rules and by reporting all accidents, unsafe conditions and acts to Management
  • Provides assistance to warehouse staff in performing normal warehouse duties
  • Performs other related duties as required
