What are the responsibilities and job description for the Landscape Designer/Landscape Architect position at PLA Design Studio?
PLA Design Studio is a boutique landscape architecture firm located in SUNNY SOUTH FLORIDA! Our team specializes in high-end residential design which includes one of a kind pools and spas, water features, fire features, pergolas, outdoor kitchens and anything else we can think of. PLA Design Studio also creates detailed planting designs from the Italian inspired formal gardens to the whimsical tropical gardens we see across our warm climates. We pride ourselves on creating a fun and challenging work environment that focuses on engaging team members in all aspects of the design process. With a combined 55 years of professional experience, our Principals provide opportunities for new grads to dig deeper into the detailed design aspect of our field. WE ARE NOT ENGINEERS! Desired applicant attributes :
- Must live in general area and commute to office a minimum of twice per week
- Great attention to detail and an affinity for problem-solving
- 3D modeling skills using SketchUp and Lumion
- A collaborative mindset and ability to move from project to project with finesse and efficiency
- A track record of being a self-starter with great discipline and time management
- Excellent verbal and written communication
