We are seeking an organized, proactive, and customer-focused Apartment Manager to oversee two apartment complexes in Salem/Keizer, Oregon. This role involves managing tenant relations, leasing, maintenance, financial operations, and ensuring smooth day-to-day property management. Responsibilities:
- Tenant Relations: Serve as the main contact for tenants, addressing inquiries, complaints, and requests. Enforce lease agreements and community policies.
- Leasing & Marketing: Advertise units, conduct property tours, process applications, and manage lease signings. Implement strategies to maintain high occupancy.
- Maintenance: Oversee routine maintenance, landscaping, and repairs. Respond to emergencies and conduct property inspections.
- Financial Management: Collect rent, maintain financial records, and assist with budgets.
- Administrative Duties: Maintain organized records, prepare property performance reports, and ensure compliance with landlord-tenant laws.
Qualifications:
- Previous property management or leasing experience required.
- Must reside within 30 minutes of Salem, OR (or be willing to commute).
- Strong communication, customer service, and multitasking skills.
- Familiarity with property management software (AppFolio preferred).
- Knowledge of maintenance, landlord-tenant law, and fair housing regulations.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

- Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
- Reliable transportation for on-call duties and inspections.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
