Your Opportunity:
PLACE is looking to hire a Payments Leader to join our growing team. The Payments Leader is responsible for overseeing and optimizing our payments ecosystem, which includes payments to suppliers ("AP") and reimbursements to our operators & employees. You will be responsible for driving the strategy, implementation, and management of payment solutions that ensure seamless transactions for our customers globally.

What You'll Do:
- Own and oversee the day-to-day activities and responsibilities of the payments team. Manage reimbursements and accounts payable processors.
- Build communication and escalation channels for incomplete or erroneously coded expense reports.
- Lead the implementation of payment solution (Coupa) including full change management across all sectors of the business.
- Drive adoption of new payment solution with all users, including but not limited to documenting processes and training.
- Oversee pilot of new solution initially with internal employees and then with operators.
- Lead the transition of all vendors from old payables tool (BILL) to new payments solution (Coupa).
- Drive adoption rates of e-invoices with all vendors to optimize payments solution.
- Interact directly with users and vendors to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Participate in onboarding discussions with new teams, to proactively ensure a smooth payments experience.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with payment service providers, financial institutions, card networks, and regulatory bodies.
- Oversee the operational aspects of payments processing, including transaction monitoring, fraud prevention, reconciliation, and settlement.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards (e.g., PCI-DSS) while managing payment-related risks effectively.
- Lead and develop a high-performing payments team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Advocate for the best interests of our partners, suppliers and employees by ensuring payment solutions meet their needs and expectations.

Skills You Have:
- In-depth knowledge of payment processing systems, including ACH, credit/debit cards, digital wallets, and international payment methods.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks in the payments industry.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and trends.
- Strategic thinker with a track record of developing and implementing successful payments strategies.
- Outstanding leadership abilities with a focus on team development and mentorship.
- Effective communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Familiarity with Google Suite.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Master's degree in business or certification in payments related fields preferred.
- 3 years' in management role leading a payments focused team.
- 3 years of professional/technical experience in accounts payable function.
- Experience in payments systems such as Coupa and ERP systems such as NetSuite.
Physical Activities:
This position is primarily sedentary. Work will be conducted in a standard office environment, requiring the ability to operate office equipment such as a keyboard. This role will require prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer (up to 100% of work day).

Salary : $80,000 - $120,000
