This is a social media strategist who values and writes creative conversational, concise, and witty copy and can support day-to-day management of organic & paid content development / overarching social media.
Lots of exposure to grow a fun voice/brands, partner with major agencies in a collaborative in-house team.
This is not a remote position. Hybrid 1 to 2 days a week in Boston.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with in-house creative team to develop online communications plans (owned, earned and paid) across functions, including organic and paid social media, advertising, creative, and web, in partnership with agency support
- Responsible for the development of social media content in partnership with big agencies and cross-functional teams
- Manage social channels to connect with consumers, generate content, and drive positive brand sentiment while reporting on key insights and recommendations
- Partner with Sr. Marketing Leadership to bring to life the brands’ visual identity and tone of voice through content strategy
- Collaborate with design and development teams to ensure that the brands’ websites are current and optimized
- Ensure that all social content aligns with the brand’s strategy, visual guidelines, and brand voice while fostering a collaborative and creative environment
- Proactively create relevant real-time content ideas to keep customers/fans engaged with the brand
- Collaborate with Creative/Marketing to develop content for other e-commerce, digital advertising, and website needs
- Oversee all in-house static and video content across TikTok, Instagram, social
- Collaborate with Media and Sr. Marketing on content and strategy for all paid digital assets along with partnering of SEM strategy and execution
- Help to introduce new capabilities and tools in order to raise the bar for best-in-class digital execution
Required Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of social strategy and copywriting experience at an established branding, creative or digital agency (with samples)
- Minimum 2 year as a copywriter within an agency environment (with samples)
- Experience shooting/editing social videos, creating memes, and writing entertaining scripts a plus
- Shown experience staying ahead of trends in social media marketing, emerging media, and online communications
- Aspiring leader staying ahead of trends in social media marketing, emerging media, and online communications
- Portfolio showing development and execution of innovative organic social campaigns.
- Excellent writing skills and a sharp wit - quick with a brand-appropriate copy
- Thrive in cross-discipline collaboration
- Experience driving concepts and development of content with in-house and agency partners
- Passionate about working with influencers, including outreach, management and contracting
- Community management experience driving advocacy and growth for brands
