Construction Superintendent

Position Overview: As a Construction Superintendent, you will be responsible for the overall coordination, supervision, and execution of ground-up construction projects, with a particular focus on commercial and healthcare facilities. You will be the key leader on-site, ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Leadership: Oversee all on-site activities for ground-up construction projects, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and schedules.
• Team Coordination: Manage and coordinate the work of subcontractors, suppliers, and laborers, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections of work and ensure compliance with industry standards, building codes, and safety regulations.
• Schedule Management: Develop and maintain project schedules, adjusting as necessary to address any delays or changes in project scope.
• Safety Oversight: Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel on-site.
• Problem Solving: Proactively identify and address issues that may impact project timelines, budgets, or quality, facilitating timely resolutions.
• Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, and engineers, providing updates on project progress and addressing any concerns.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, change orders, and progress photos.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma; Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• 5 years of experience in construction supervision, with a strong focus on ground-up commercial and healthcare projects.
• In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and best practices.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• OSHA certification and knowledge of safety regulations in the construction industry.
