As a Construction Project Manager specializing in data centers, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of cloud storage and data center projects. Your experience managing mission-critical facilities will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. You will work closely with internal teams, clients, subcontractors, and architects to drive the success of each project from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Project Planning & Execution : Lead the planning and execution of data center construction projects, ensuring alignment with client specifications, timelines, and budget.
  • Mission-Critical Oversight : Manage the construction of mission-critical infrastructure, including data centers, cloud storage facilities, and related technical systems.
  • Scheduling & Budgeting : Develop and maintain project schedules, monitor costs, and ensure that projects are completed within financial and time constraints.
  • Team Leadership : Coordinate and manage subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Quality Control : Ensure that all work meets or exceeds industry standards, client expectations, and regulatory requirements for data center facilities.
  • Safety & Compliance : Enforce safety standards and regulatory compliance throughout the project, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members.
  • Stakeholder Communication : Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, consultants, and other stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns.
  • Problem Solving : Identify and resolve any challenges or issues that arise during the construction process, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines.

Qualifications :

  • Experience : 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry, with a focus on mission-critical projects such as data centers or cloud storage facilities.
  • Mission-Critical Experience : Proven track record managing data center, cloud storage, or similar infrastructure projects. Familiarity with the unique requirements and challenges of mission-critical facilities is essential.
  • Technical Knowledge : Strong understanding of the technical systems involved in data center construction, including power systems, cooling, HVAC, and IT infrastructure.
  • Leadership & Team Management : Demonstrated ability to lead and manage project teams, ensuring coordination and collaboration among all stakeholders.
  • Project Management Skills : Expertise in project management software, budgeting, scheduling, and contract administration.
  • Communication : Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to effectively interact with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
  • Certifications : PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar certifications preferred. OSHA 30-hour certification is a plus.
  • Education : Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field is preferred but not required.
