Preparing K-12, Higher Education, and Commercial project specifications from firm master specifications
Product research and evaluation
Technical design assistance
Construction contract administration support of design studio staff
Mentoring of design studio technical staff
Qualifications
Qualified candidates should be able to work independently.
Candidates should be meticulous, possess exceptional judgment, and experienced in the ability to communicate the qualitative requirements for materials, products, systems, and workmanship clearly and concisely.
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or similar degree required
20 years of experience in the design & construction industry
5 years of experience as a Specifications Writer.
Experience writing specifications for K-12 Education projects is highly preferred.
Experience with Deltek (Formerly ARCOM) MasterSpec editing tools also preferred.
