We are seeking an Interior Designer for a commercial design firm in their office in the Las Colinas area of Irving, TX.
The Interior Designer will be a hands-on designer for restaurant, retail, and entertainment projects, working through all phases of a project from concept through construction administration.

Responsibilities:
- Lead interior design assignments that include Conceptual Design, Schematic Design, Design Development & redlining design portion of construction documents and Construction Administration
- Develop space planning concepts, especially for restaurant environments.
- Develop and deliver graphic presentation materials and design documentation for interiors, including concept images, visuals and material samples.
- research, select and document the overall interiors package for a variety of projects, including but not limited to full FF&E:
- Concept/style development
- Color palette development
- Interior finish material selection
- Furniture and fabric selection
- Fixture and equipment selection
- Process submittals, RFIs, substitution requests, etc.
- responsible for producing high quality project design deliverables.
- Maintains client relations and attends client design meetings as directed by the Design Director and Senior Designer.
- Degree in Interior Design from an accredited educational program.
- Competency in the subjects of Building and Accessibility Codes.
- Proficient in AutoCAD
- Hand Sketching ability.
- Proficient in Adobe cloud suite
- Strong knowledge in Sketchup
- Should have in-depth knowledge of interior design styles: current and upcoming design and furniture trends. Be a trend setter.
- 4 years of practical experience in a commercial design position
- Professional registration is encouraged but not required.
