What are the responsibilities and job description for the PROJECT ARCHITECT position at Placement By Design?
We are seeking an experienced Project Architect for a growing architectural firm in their North Dallas office.
Responsibilities :
- Participates in the schematic design and provides full design and technical support throughout the entire project.
- Leads the production delivery through all phases of the construction documents process.
- Reports to Managing Principal.
- Works directly with project management, other architects, and consultants.
- Develops and leads technical viewpoint on projects.
- Coordinates with the project manager on appropriate technical solutions and product strategies.
- Must be REVIT proficient, capable of working independently, and also lead a team of junior staff members in the production of construction documents.
- Review and process submittals, attend project meetings, manage job progress reports, and coordinate with outside consultants.
- Limited travel outside of Texas.
