Job Duties:
- Assist clients in securing affordable and suitable housing through community outreach, application support, and identifying housing opportunities.
- Help clients eliminate barriers to housing approval, attend apartment tours, and coordinate the moving process.
- Provide ongoing stabilization support by ensuring lease compliance and connecting clients to community resources.
- Develop and monitor individual goals, objectives, and outcomes for clients, maintaining communication with interdisciplinary teams and completing required reports.
- Participate in staff meetings and training, adhere to program policies, and manage weekly schedules and activities.
Client Locations:
Caseload #1: North Hennepin/Anoka Area
Caseload #2: Dakota/Ramsey Counties
Qualifications for Housing Support Specialist
Must be at least 18 years old, have a high school diploma/GED, have a valid driver's license with a reliable vehicle and proof of up to date auto insurance. Prior experience working with individuals that have developmental disabilities is not required but preferred. Must be able to pass DHS Background Check.
Job Type: Full-time (Upon successful completion of part-time 90 day training period)
Pay: $22.00 - $23.50 per hour

- Day shift
