Job Duties:
- Assist a caseload of 8-10 clients in exploring and securing competitive employment through vocational assessments, job shadowing, and identifying volunteer opportunities.
- Guide clients through the job development process, including resume building, employer contact, job application preparation, interview coaching, and wage-benefit education.
- Track client progress by developing and monitoring individual goals, maintaining communication with the interdisciplinary team, and completing necessary reports.
- Participate in ongoing staff training, adhere to program policies, and update weekly schedules and labor reports as required.
Placement Specialist (PS) Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years old, have a high school diploma/GED, have a valid driver's license with a reliable vehicle and proof of up to date auto insurance. Prior experience working with individuals that have developmental disabilities in a social services field is not required but preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $23.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
