ASSOCIATE ENGINEER
$113,016 - $144,243 annually, DOQ, plus excellent benefits

PCWA is seeking qualified candidates to perform professional and technical engineering work for water and power systems. Incumbents manage a broad range of projects through planning, design, construction and implementation. Depending on the engineering specialty hired and their discipline, the incumbents may be responsible for managing projects comprised of civil, mechanical, structural, electrical, communications and control improvements for water and power systems and/or engineering projects for water treatment plants, equipment and processes, pipelines, canals, control systems and pumping facilities.
Our ideal candidate for appointment as an Associate Engineer will possess a bachelor’s degree in civil or mechanical engineering or a related field and four years of professional civil or mechanical engineering experience with water and/or power systems and related operations. Registration as a Professional Engineer in the State of California is required.
Our ideal candidate for appointment as Assistant Engineer will possess a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field and two years of civil engineering experience with water and/or power systems.
