The Placer County Community Development Resource Agency is accepting applications for Building Inspector I and Building Inspector II in Tahoe!
As a Building Inspector I/II, you will review building plans and conduct inspections of residential and commercial buildings under construction or being remodeled. You will also determine compliance of plans and of buildings under construction with applicable State and County codes and standards
EXPERINCE
Building Inspector - I: Three years of building trades experience is desirable.
Building Inspector - II: Two years of responsible experience performing duties similar to those of a Building Inspector I in Placer County.
TRAINING
Building Inspector - I/II: Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade. Additional specialized training in the building trades or construction technology is desirable.
REQUIRED LICENSE OR CERTIFICATE:
Building Inspector - I: Possession of, or ability to obtain prior to the completion of the probationary period, a valid Certificate of Registration as a Building Inspector issued by the International Code Council.
Building Inspector - II: Possession of a valid Certificate of Registration as a Building Inspector issued by the International Code Council.
