Transportation Supervisor (Tahoe)

We are hiring a Transportation Supervisor for the Transit Division in Placer County.
This position is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing transit systems daily operations, including delegating employee workload, conducting employee performance evaluations, and using technical tools and methods to perform tasks relative to the assigned area of responsibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Directing daily transit system operations
- Delegating employee workload and conducting performance evaluations
- Utilizing technical tools and methods to perform tasks
Requirements:
- Three years of increasingly responsible experience in transit system operations or a related scheduled transportation activity
- Equivalent to completion of 12th grade
- Possession of valid Class A or B driver's license with passenger endorsements and no air brake restrictions
- Possession of Mass Transit Training Certificate issued by the Transportation Safety Institute or California Department of Education
- Possession of Verification of Transit Training (VTT) certificate issued by the California Department of Motor Vehicles or equivalent training to operate a public transit vehicle in passenger service
