What are the responsibilities and job description for the Special Day Class Teacher position at Placer Hills Union School District?
Under the direction of a site administrator and program specialist, provide instruction, assessment and program planning for special education students with emotional disabilities, as well as students with learning disabilities, Intellectual Disability, attention deficit and attention deficit hyperactivity disorders; monitor and evaluate student progress and behavior; research, obtain and provide instructional materials for special education services; serve as informational resource for students, parents and District personnel; work within a Special Day Class environment and within the general education classroom.

Valid California credential authorizing service in the appropriate grade level and/or subject area, Education Specialist Instruction Credential - Mild/Moderate Disabilities or Specialist Instruction Credential - Special Education/Learning Handicapped
CLAD/CTEL or equivalent certification
