- Serve as the primary point of contact for community organizations, providing mental health awareness trainings and resources.
- Offer technical assistance and training resources to enhance mental health awareness.
- Coordinate planning, implementation, and evaluation of the mental health awareness training grant.
- Prepare and submit monthly referral reports and Mental Health First Aid Updates.
- Participate in conferences, internal in-services, and national mental health conferences.
- Graduate from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s Degree in social work, counseling, public health, education, psychology, community development, public administration, or a closely related field, with at least one year of professional experience in a social service agency.
- Or, graduate from an accredited college with an Associate’s Degree in education, public health, psychology, community development, public administration, or a closely related field, with at least two years of professional experience in a social service agency.
- Obtain Youth and Adult Mental Health First Aid instructor certifications within four months of hire.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Current driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance.
- Ability to communicate ideas clearly and effectively.
- Successful completion of background check, including criminal record, driving record, abuse/neglect, and fingerprint check.
- Provide evidence of being free from infectious diseases prior to beginning employment and annually thereafter.
