Machine Operator - Morning Shift (6:00 AM - 6:00 PM)
As a Machine Operator at Placon we are seeking candidates with excellent communication skills with the ability to stay focused in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The Machine Operator will be responsible for the set-up and successful operation of our IRWIN or ILLIG RDKP 72 or 90's. These machines are automatic pressure forming machines with IC processing control and forming/punching technology that thermoform parts to the customers specifications.
The Machine Operator is responsible for preparation, set-up, start and running manufacturing equipment under the guidance of the Production Shift Leader. Accountabilities also include ensuring that jobs meet quality specifications, manufacturing standards and that safety procedures are followed while working to continuously improve quality and productivity of manufacturing operations.
