The Warehouse Receiving Clerk is responsible for warehouse related duties that are related to the shipping of finished goods and receiving of raw materials. This position will also include checking drivers in and out of the dock doors and coordinating moves by our onsite drivers. They will be accountable for the accuracy of transactions, meeting established standards and following established guidelines and procedures regarding safety, GMP, and department work instructions.

High School diploma or equivalent (1) year of relevant warehouse experience

Inside - warehouse/manufacturing environment

Forklift or pallet jack, scanners, computer, calculator, phone, copier-scanner

Essential Accountabilities
Warehouse Office
- Deliver UPS and Fed Ex packages to assigned areas
- Ship materials using Oracle system-create BOLs, shipping documents
- Create labeling for inbound materials and receive into Oracle system
- Create labeling for outbound shipments/UPS FED ex
- Maintain shipping documents and receiving records-scanning or filing
- Answers inquiries concerning purchase order or sales order status.
- Check in drivers and assign them to dock doors
- Coordinate onsite drivers for yard moves and transfers to other Placon buildings
- Meet department goals for efficiency
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts
- Maintain Trailer listing
- Occasional loading or unloading using a pallet jack or forklift
- Assist in counting or other warehouse related duties as assigned by Supervisor or Manager
- Fill customer and production orders accurately and efficiently, ensure that product is stored, received and shipped to quality standards
- Perform timely and accurate transactions to maintain the integrity of inventory systems
- Maintain department equipment by performing daily checks, maintain department KPI's
- Perform cleaning as needed to maintain GMP requirements
- Follows all policies and procedures regarding safety and participates in company and department safety initiatives
- Communicates with all customers, drivers and team members in a courteous, prompt and accurate manner
