SUMMARY :
Shipping, receiving, freezer and warehouse duties, loading and unloading trucks. Mainframe data entry and Fed-Ex entries and knowledge ofAS.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING. OTHER DUTIES MAY BE ASSIGNED.
Receiving :
Receive product : ingredients, packaging, finished goods, WIP, and non-standardinventory.
Schedule all inbound activity, log vendor compliance information andaudits.
Coordinate all shipments of packaging supplies from outside warehouse to plant to meet production schedule.
Load and unload all trucks, stage marked product forstorage.
Obtain ingredient and packaging samples and forward to QA andMarketing.
Enter all receipts on same day and communicate all issues with necessary departments; Including all outside operations FDA. Landis,etc.
Maintain accurate records of all returns, maintain log books and customer return logs, complete all TAF forms, CR forms and entry intosystem.
OR) May be required to perform General Warehouse, work in coolers or outbounddistribution
GeneralWarehouse :
Move all received product into storage areas from receivingdock.
Pull packaging supplies for production, stage and count and receive all returns fromproduction.
Pull kitchen orders, receive and maintain all ingredient inventories, and cycle countinventory.
Keep records of cycle counts and discards and communicate all issues to necessarydepartments.
Cycle count and pallet check asrequired.
Maintain control documents for any kind of product movement within theplant.
OR) May be required to perform receiving, work in coolers or outbounddistribution.
OutboundDistribution :
Move all FG product from production, verify slip number, product number & count, scan product and reconciledaily.
Maintain storage area and FIFOrotation.
Coordinate all movement To & From all outsidewarehouses.
Maintain control documents for any product movement within the plant and To & From outside operations.
Load and unloadtrucks.
Cycle count and pallet check asrequired.
Maintain AIB sanitationpractices.
OR) May be required to perform Receiving, work in Coolers or GeneralWarehous
Cooler
Checkschedulesandpullproductsaccordingtoproductiondate(FIFO)ofMOA,andintimetobe room temperature for packing in products, also, for wrappers, Bindler and Sollichlines.
Control hold product by working with QADepartment
Pull candy orders and transfer, if necessary, to distribution pick uparea.
Place candy from Bindler, Sollich, and wrapper production in appropriate cooler; return unused product from productionsareas.
Maintainanaccurateinventorysystembyrecordinglot / location,candymovementsheets,andother appropriatepaperwork.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL :
Daily checks for fork-lifts and electric powerjacks.
Inventory periodically : trailers, and products and outsidewarehouses.
Knowledge of Lock-Out / Tag-out (for inoperablefork-lifts).
Pull questionable product for QAcheck
Follow all standard operation procedures (SOP), Policies, andGMP’s.
Assure adherence to Food Safety Requirements and WorkInstructions.
Train new employees asrequired.
Conduct annual physicalinventory.
Knowledge of RPMS, AS, MS Word, Excel & General PC skills to maintain inventory, and otherreports.
Able to read productionsschedules.
Work autonomously within the plant to resolve day to day issues and enhancingprocess to operate moreefficiently.
Comply with all safety policies, report safety violations, and attend safetymeetings.
Maintain home department in a clean and orderly manner.
Experience in loading and unloading offreight.
Performs other related duties as requested by leader orsupervisor.
Might be asked to work duringshutdowns
Might be asked to work another shift duringshutdowns.
Required to work until end of production shiftdaily.
Able to work overtime whenneeded.
Report problems regarding food safety to Supervisor or Manager.
