Key Responsibilities
Packaging Operators:
- Set up the packaging lines, perform changeovers, assemble/disassemble packing lines, cleaning, and training.
- Able to perform all positions on the line, including packer and material handler (palletizer) as needed.
- Fulfill customer specifications, monitor weights of products, and troubleshoot issues with knives, scales, weights, jams, tape machines, censors.
- Train new packers and material handlers, monitor productivity through accurate documentation, and look for opportunities to maximize line effectiveness.
Processing Operators:
- Qualified to run at least two Enrobing lines on the wet processing end.
- Manage chocolate temperature readings, make proper adjustments to the lines, and assemble/disassemble water belts, conveyors, pumps.
- Filter changes, identify root cause for clogs, frozen lines, leaks, build-up, heat up piping, and monitor production on the Dry End.
- Recommends suggestions for improvement, reads, understands, and follows all customer specifications, and performs changeovers and cleaning of lines and full allergen cleans.
Requirements
- 6 months of manufacturing experience for Packaging Operators.
- 1 year of manufacturing experience for Processing Operators.
- Ability to read and understand customer specifications, basic math skills, and high school diploma or equivalent required.
Additional Job Information
