Salary:
Summer School Hourly Stipend as pursuant to the APT the Negotiated Agreement
$35.00 per hour-TRS / $31.85 per hour -IRS
Summer School Dates:
June 19, 2025 to June 26, 2025 (Monday-Thursday)
Additional inservice requirements prior to 6/9/25 start date (approximately 10 hours)
No school - 6/19/2025
(This is an on-call substitute position during the summer school duration)

Description:
Demonstrated knowledge of MS content and essential standards in Middle School Math.
Knowledge of the middle school student and effective ways to support the middle school child.
Knowledge and experience using the MS resources including Ready Classroom, and/or Springboard Math program.
Demonstrated understanding of differentiation and how to effectively teach in an accelerated environment, foster student understanding of math practices and content.
Manage student behavior and expectations in a pro-active manner.
Demonstrate clear and accurate communication with students, staff, and parents.
Teachers will create learning environments that embrace and model diversity and inclusion, they will establish an environment that fosters student involvement in learning and will manage student behavior in a pro-active manner.
Teachers will work in collaboration with program administrators to collect student data and monitor student progress.
Certification / License Requirements:
Valid State of Illinois Professional Educators License with appropriate endorsements, registered in Will County
