General Purpose:
This entry-level role supports park maintenance and operations by performing routine and preventative tasks on parks and equipment under general supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Operating equipment such as mowers, tractors, skid steers, and vehicles.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and small engine equipment.
- Inspect, report, and address hazards or damage to parks and facilities.
- Cleans, maintains, and stocks restrooms/facilities/rental areas.
- Remove trash, debris, and vegetation from park grounds and facilities.
- Maintain turf and landscaping, including mowing, watering, and applying treatments.
- Ice making, ice maintenance, ice removal, snow plowing, and snow removal.
- Assist with construction, maintenance, and repair of parks and equipment under supervision
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Practical knowledge or the ability to obtain such regarding the operation and care of equipment and tools in maintenance operations.
