Job Overview
Job Title: Van Driver
Location: Plainfield Public Schools, Plainfield, CT
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
Hours: Approximately 6.5 hours per day

Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transport students to and from school, ensuring timely arrival and departure.
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations to guarantee student safety.
- Maintain the cleanliness and condition of the van.
- Communicate effectively with students, school staff, and parents as needed.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 23 years old.
- Valid Connecticut Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Candidates holding a "V" endorsement on their license are encouraged to apply. A CDL license with a PS endorsement will also be accepted.
- A smartphone is required for communication and scheduling purposes.
- If you do not currently hold the required endorsements, we will assist you in obtaining the necessary licensing.
- A strong desire to work with students and provide safe, reliable transportation.
- This position requires random drug testing, background check, fingerprints and a DOT physical.
Pay and Benefits:
- Pay ranges from $16.00 to $17.00 per hour.
- Flexible, part-time hours of approximately 6.5 hours per day.
- Assistance with obtaining required endorsements if needed.
