The company is headquartered in Houston, Texas.We are looking for highly-motivated individuals who enjoy working as part of a team in a dynamic and entrepreneurial work environment.Job Summary : Performs light maintenance on fleet equipment.Responsibilities (after initial training period) : Perform light maintenance on fleet equipment such as, oil changes, minor repairs, brake adjustments, truck and trailer greasing, and equipment inspections.Operate forklifts, winch trucks, and / or service trucks.Be familiar with all safety procedures for working with electricity, engines, compressors, and material safety data sheets for related materials.Work in proximity to significant hazards (H2S, chemicals, high voltage, elevated heights, volatile liquids, etc.), which require safety accommodations and procedures.Ensure proper D.O.T., state inspection, and insurance papers are included in the cab data book.Serve as an on-call technician.Demonstrate a positive impact by promoting safety in decisions and actions.Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Lead Technician.Requirements : High school diploma or equivalent.Minimum of 1 year experience.Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with diesel and gasoline engines, electronics, and testing equipment.Basic math skills required to take measurements, change speedometers, read manuals, and perform service work.Have applicable safety training, licenses, and certifications.Must have and maintain a valid class C driver's license to operate company pickup trucks.Must have own tools (tool allowance provided).Successfully pass pre-employment background check (including MVR) and drug testing.#PlainsAt Plains, our employees are our most valuable asset.
