PlainsCapital Bank is looking to hire a Profitability Analyst & Systems Administrator.
The Profitability Analyst & Systems Administrator is responsible for the configuration, administration, security, support, and maintenance of the business rules for our Loan Pricing platform, integrated with Salesforce. Provides strong analytical and technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing solutions that are cost effective and meet user requirements. Partners with internal stakeholders, various department leaders, and vendors to gain consensus and mutual understanding of business drivers, requirements, development approach and test plans.
Responsibilities
- Configures and maintains the platform to align with management’s loan pricing strategy.
- Innovates with the Pricing platform vendor on upcoming capabilities and features and displays how they can be aligned to the sales process and finance objectives.
- Supports end users with technical and procedural assistance.
- Implements and maintains user access and permissions.
- Creates and maintains system documentation in line with internal policy requirements.
- Monitors implementation and user satisfaction.
- Writes detailed business and functional requirements based on business need.
- Identifies solutions to complex problems requiring ingenuity, or innovative thinking.
- Performs complex systems process analysis, design, and simulation. Understands technical problems and solutions in relation to the current and future business environment.
- Suggests plans to integrate new and existing processes.
- Leads in the development and implementation of strategic technology plans.
- Directs solutions to system/business problems.
- Participates in testing, training, and implementation of application changes.
- First point of contact for user support and problem solving.
- Frequently interfaces with business lines, including management, and/or internal resources to ensure quality, timeliness, and testing of all project/release work.
- Works with technology and application development teams to design or select solutions that appropriately meet the business needs for large projects.
- Reviews and validates test plan approaches for proper functionality coverage. May coordinate and execute test plans.
- Performs other functions as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
- Must be able to report into Hilltop Plaza located @ 6565 Hillcrest Avenue, Dallas, without the need for relocation assistance.
- Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent combination of education and relevant, progressive work experience
- required.
- 3 years of experience in the Financial Services Industry; specifically, in either Business Banking, Corporate Banking, Corporate Payment Systems, or Corporate Trust.
- Strong time management, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
- Effective communication skills to cultivate feedback from our end users to enhance the platform and improve user engagement.
- Consultative approach when working with internal business groups on process improvement projects designed to improve their business results.
- Ability to partner with Business Stakeholders to identify, refine, and document detailed business needs.
- Can lead clients and technical staff to investigate, analyze, and resolve application problems related to system functions.
- Knowledge of pricing applications and features, including rate sheets and pricing principles is preferred.
- Precision Lender or Salesforce platform experience, in a Systems Administration role, is preferred.
